Apo, a young Greek patriarch, poet adventurer to 100 000 birds, decides to fix Nianing in 1969. An idea does not leave: to create a forest as it existed before. More than 130 000 trees and shrubs will be planted at the price of hard work facing water shortage especially. Thus, year after year will rise to the Domaine de Nianing, true "green lung" of the Senegalese Petite Côte.

Perfectly integrated into the surrounding countryside, villas and bungalows were built and covered with thatched roof in order to put a small African village. Tourism and nature have found common ground and relaxation.

In 2007: Transformation Center Esthéti'K with creation of new care for the well-being. Renovation of 24 rooms overlooking the park and 140 rooms overlooking the beach.
In 2008: Complete renovation of all cases.
In 2009: Opening of Hair Salon Mech'mech.
In 2010: Coffee-net, Internet Access Point, Wireless at the park side, Renewing and Furnishing the Bar at the beach side
Each year we are improve our hotel facilities for the comfort of our residents in our various services.
 
30 000 cuttings were made per year for the reorganization and ornamental park. Hundreds of fruit trees (mango, grapefruit, lemon ...) are planted in areas that we bring into cultivation bit by bit.

To acquire this beautiful result, Apo has created a team: son and daughters of farmers and fishermen for the most regional. There were about 180 in 1985 but the family of Apo will not stop there, as we currently are about 280 in high season.
